Delete Your Account
Effective date: 10 August 2026
You can permanently delete your ThatNewJob account and all associated data at any time, directly from the app — no need to contact support. This page describes how, and exactly what gets deleted, for anyone checking before they sign up or without the app installed.
How to delete your account
- Open the ThatNewJob app (iOS, Android, or web) and sign in
- Go to Profile
- Select Delete Account and confirm
Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone or recovered — there is no grace period or backup restore for a deleted account (unlike deleting an individual lead, which can be restored from "recently deleted").
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
- Your account profile (name, email, subscription/plan status)
- All leads you've created, including their notes and meeting records
- All contacts you've created
- Your activity history
- Any feedback you've submitted through the app
- Any voice note audio still stored (audio is normally deleted right after transcription — this is a safety-net cleanup for anything left over)
- Your sign-in credentials (Firebase Authentication account)
Your active subscription, if any, is not automatically cancelled by account deletion — cancel it separately first from your Profile's subscription management, or through the App Store/Google Play/Stripe directly, to stop future billing.
Can't access the app?
If you'd like your account deleted but can't sign in — a lost device, a forgotten password, or you never finished setting up — emailprivacy@wallaceandwang.com from the email address on the account and I'll delete it manually.
See the Privacy Policy for more on what data is collected and why.
